I ordered this dress to wear for a formal night on our cruise. I am currently expecting so I wanted something that was comfortable and wouldn't wrinkle in my suitcase. This dress was perfect. It was elegant and the fabric is so comfortable. Hung it up as soon as we got our room and it was wrinkle free for formal night! I wasn't sure about sizing because I am expecting so I reached out to the sizing experts online and they were so helpful. Normally I would have ordered a small, but since I am pregnant they recommended I size up and I'm glad I did. The medium was great and allowed me the extra room I needed for my bump and wasn't too tight. For reference I am 5'8'', 145 lbs in my second trimester. Highly recommend this dress!
I wore this dress for a women’s night out photoshoot and it was a showstopper. Everyone there was obsessed with it! It hugs the body, but is so flattering with the seams and the slit. BONUS it’s comfortable! It’s a stretchy material and doesn’t pull or constrict you in any way. If you want something formal that you can comfortably dance, eat, and sit in this is it. I could sleep in it it’s that comfortable. Pretty sure there’s not many formal dresses tou could say that about. 😂

I bought this dress for my son's wedding. I didn't have much time to shop and my daughter in law wanted burgundy and pink for the wedding party. I also needed something that offered more coverage without making me look much older than I am.
The Black Tie Dress to the rescue! It arrived in less than a week of placing the order. Burgundy was one of the colors offered. And last but not least, it's style made me feel attractive and classy. A winner a the way around! My daughter (whose getting married in a two months 😳) loved the dress so much she asked me to wear it to her wedding too. The material and construction is extremely good quality.

Everything I get from SexyModest is always WONDERFUL and this dress was no exception!! It is so comfortable and absolutely stunning. The fabric is great, the double lining is awesome, and the slit-- perfection! It is fairly long, I'm just under 5'6" and I wore 2 inch heels and it dragged just a bit. It's also built to fit snug, which I love, but I would size up if you don't want it to be too tight! But overall, I just wish I had more formal events to go to so I could wear it more!!
I wore this dress to my husband's National Guard dinner. I was a little nervous because I'm between a L and XL so I wasn't sure it would fit through the arms or thighs/butt area. I talked to a customer service girl and she helped me a lot and calmed my anxiety about purchasing it. It fit so well! And it was perfect for the event! I was so happy! This isn't the most flattering picture, but in real life I thought it looked very pretty.

This is a beautiful dress. Super slimming and very flattering. The second layer underneath the skirt is really nice and prevents lines from showing. The dress is very long and very soft. I am 6’ & 150lbs. A medium fit me perfectly. I purchased the black and the burgundy because I loved the dress so much. I can’t say enough good about this company and their desire for you to love your dress. They worked with me until I got exactly what I wanted. I never have to worry I won’t like the dress because they want me to love what I purchased. This dress is gorgeous on!
Flattering and elegant
I needed this dress for a black tie event I was attending. I'll be honest, when I got it and held it up I was a little skeptical... but then I put it on, and WOW! It is SO flattering, and so elegant. It is super comfortable (made with stretchy material) and you can move easily in it. The wrinkle free material is a big bonus. I genuinely LOVED wearing this dress.
The only heads up I'd give is that it is very long. I am 5'8" and 140 lbs. I got a Medium. I wore 3 inch heels and it still skimmed the floor. I didn't mind, but for someone on the shorter side it may need to be hemmed up.
I absolutely love this dress!!! It’s true to size and very flattering. Only thing I’ll have to change is the length. It’s too long which is normal for me when buying dresses. Would highly recommend.
