So, I’ve been wanting something red to wear that doesn’t make me look like a tomato because I’m petite but round in the middle. This dress is simple, not thin material, elegant and it’s not easily wrinkled.
I was nervous about purchasing a dress online because my body type is difficult for most dresses. I tend to look pregnant in most dresses. I put on my dress and my husband was like, "BAM! You look hot!" Needless to say, I felt beautiful and sexy!
The first time I put this dress on I said “return label please!”. So if you had the same impression, hang on a minute! This fabric needs to be moved and stretched. Put your hands in the pockets and push down a bit, flatten out the cinching on the waist, adjust the tie in the front a few times, and then BOOM it’s the most stunning, showstopper dress you will own.

This dress is amazing! It’s absolutely stunning, and compliments us ladies that may have smaller waists but larger hips or bums from having children. I typically wear a 28-29 in jeans, and am 5”9. My blouses and dresses are topically an 8 or medium, however I am taller with a longer torso. I ordered a large, and it fit perfectly. The dress falls right at the middle of the knee cap, and is perfect for church as it doesn’t ride up or shift when sitting or kneeling. This was my first purchase from this seller and I will definitely be returning for more buys! The dress is much thicker and well made than I ever expected and I appreciate that it’s not clingy or cheap feeling like some boutiques sell. Great quality and absolutely chic and gorgeous!
Got my dress opened it up and found two holes in the sleeves. Contacted customer service and it was replaced. Such good customer service and the replacement dress was perfect 👌🏻
This is my favorite dress from SM ever. I love the tie around the waist, it's very flattering and not frumpy, and I love the material of these dresses. The one thing I wish this dress had though, was a zipper. I love that the long sleeve pocket front dresses have the zipper, but with this dress I have to put it over my head (and hair and makeup). There is some stretch to it but it's a stronger, thicker material than other dresses from elsewhere, so there is not as much stretch around the neckline to get my head through if I'm wearing an up-do or to give a wide enough berth to not let my make up touch the collar (I know I could do hair and makeup after I get dressed but I don't like to do this and risk getting anything on my clothing and I get too hot while I'm getting ready in my bathroom if I'm already dressed, and I don't want to start my day already sweaty in my work clothes) Like every SM dress, I want one in every color!!! I appreciate the length as well, I'm 5'11 and a size 8. I started with SM dresses in mediums but for the extra length I get large now in all styles and they sit at a more comfortable/appropriate length for my height.
This fabric is amazing. Structured but stretchy. The bell sleeves are the perfect size for me. I wasn't brave enough for the other dress that has a little larger bell sleeves...so feminine and classy looking. Got them for bridesmaid dresses but i'm so glad because its definitely going to be one of my favorite dresses. also love the classy below the knee length.
