Here at SexyModest, we want to thank you all for another wonderful year filled with fashion, fun, podcasts, parties, and memories galore! Before we change our calendars and set those resolutions and goals, we thought it might be fun to look back on some of the highlights from the past year. (Spoiler alert: It was a good one.)

Lending a hand to our Texas friends
One of our favorite memories from 2021 came at the beginning of the year when the SexyModest community (people like YOU!) banded together to help those in need. After getting hit with some extreme weather, many of our Texas friends were left without some much-needed supplies — food, water, diapers for babies, etc. After putting a call out to her online followers, Brigitte was BLOWN AWAY by the response. Here’s what she wrote on Insta:
You guys!!! You did it!!! You filled a 53-foot semi with essentials for Texas! In spite of everything I hope you know that people are good. Like really really good. We had helpers, donations, stuff getting dropped off in trailer loads and car loads and truthfully I had to keep the tears from flowing most of the day! My warehouse manager Jesse showed up on a Saturday with not a question asked but excited to help. My DMs have blown up with thank you’s...you guys...I can’t take one ounce of credit. YOU all made this happen. This truck is set to leave Monday morning to Austin, Texas full of water, diapers, wipes, formula, toilet paper, and hygiene products! This Instagram tribe I get to call mine is full of the kind of people you want on your team. Sometimes miracles are just good people with kind hearts❤️ Thank you again Legacy Logistics & Balkan Express for donating the semi and the driver.

Fitness challenges
One of our goals at SexyModest is to help women look and feel their best by inspiring healthy habits. With that in mind, Brigitte issued two fitness challenges this year — the Abs Challenge and the Booty Challenge — and BOY were we blown away by those of you who participated! The consensus was that y’all loved pushing yourselves and working on a goal together. (Some of you even got your husbands on board!)
It wasn’t about losing weight or fitting a certain body image — it was all about strengthening your body and doing hard things. Many of you went from not being able to do a single sit-up to knocking out 100 in a row by day 25!
If you missed the challenges, it’s not too late to do them at home yourself. And be on the lookout for more at-home workouts and fitness challenges to come in the new year!
Podcast highlights
It’s been a minute since Brig and Jase have gotten behind the podcast mic, but that’s only because they’re still recovering from the sheer awesomeness of the episodes released earlier this year. To refresh your memory, the most recent Modestshoppin Movement episodes featured interviews with three amazing human beings: Dave Hollis, Danny Deaton, and Andrew Van Buren. Each of these guys drops some major knowledge and pearls of wisdom on topics ranging from finding peace and hope after drug addiction and personal heartache to learning how to be savvier with your finances.

The Shamy home remodel
In case you were wondering WHY there haven’t been any recent podcast episodes, well, you can blame it on a big, beautiful building that the Shamy family calls their new home. Earlier this year, Brig and Jase moved into a lovely li’l casa they’re fixing up to be their forever abode and the remodeling process has been … well, extensive, to say the least. Of course, once you check out the before and after photos on Brig’s Insta stories, you’ll see it’s been worth it. (Just click on the Remodel and Remodel 2 bubbles.)

As if she wasn’t busy enough, Brig also managed to launch an entirely new clothing line geared specifically toward the medical community — ScrubsLuxe.com! Figuring it was high time all the hard-working doctors, nurses, and medical assistants out there had some comfy options for work, Brig saw a need and decided to fill it. And since they’re guaranteed to be the most comfortable scrubs out there, you’ll definitely want to spread the word to your medical friends if you haven’t already. (And if you’re not in the medical field but you want to order these anyway, we won’t tell.)
The best Girls Night Out ever
Ladies, for SURE one of the best parts about 2021 was FINALLY getting to party with all of you (or at least 600 of you) in person! The SexyModest team was so happy to be able to host the biggest Pop-up Shop/Girls Night Out to date back in October, and it was one for the record books. On top of having ALL the SexyModest tops, bottoms, dresses, accessories, and cosmetics available, we also had vendors selling some of Brigitte’s favorite things — from PERK to caramel apples to meal kits and more! Plus, every attendee went home with a bag o’ swag that was carefully curated by Brig. (She really outdid herself.)

The new Bestie Jewelry Club
They say all good things must come to an end — but they should add that they’re replaced by even BETTER things!
